At about the mid-point of every NAHL season, the league will have a 3 day break for the All-Star Weekend. This is where the best of the Wales Conference take on the best of the Campbell Conference in 3 major events: The Pro League All-Star game, the Young Guns game and the Farm League All-Star Game. Each event will be a 3-game series so that the "starting" goalie gets 2 starts while the "backup" gets 1 start.
The main event of the All-Star weekend, this game features the elite players of both conferences. For this game only the NAHL GMs will have a chance to vote on who will participate in this match, and there will be a 3 day period before the voting begins where each GM will have a chance to write press releases to try to persuade their fellow GMs to vote for their players. However, each NAHL team will have at least one representative in the game. To be eligible to play in this game, the player must have played 25 pro games in the current NAHL season. For a goaltender to be eligible he must have played in 20 Pro League games in the current season. The 1st star of each game gets 3 points that can be added one of his ratings, the 2nd star of each game gets 2 points that can be added to one of his ratings and the 3rd star of each game gets 1 point that can be added to one of his ratings.
In this game the top young stars of each conference go head-to-head. To be eligible for play in this contest, the player must be of age 25 or younger and have played 10 pro games in the current NAHL season. A goaltender only needs 1 pro game played in the current NAHL season to be eligible for this game. A player who fits this criteria but has been voted to play in the Pro League All-Star game will not be allowed to play in this game. The 1st star of each game gets 3 points that can be added one of his ratings, the 2nd star of each game gets 2 points that can be added to one of his ratings and the 3rd star of each game gets 1 point that can be added to one of his ratings.
For this game the best Farm League players from each conference will participate. To be eligible for this one the player must have played in 25 Farm League games in the current NAHL season. A goaltender must have played 20 Farm League games to be eligible. The 1st star of each game gets 3 points that can be added one of his ratings, the 2nd star of each game gets 2 points that can be added to one of his ratings and the 3rd star of each game gets 1 point that can be added to one of his ratings.
**IMPORTANT NOTE: Players who are injured in the NAHL at the time of the All-Star Weekend will not be allowed to play in any of these 3 events.
